Exchange rates around the world are having significant impacts on the price of oil when converted from the West Texas intermediate price to local currencies. As a result of these variations, the price of oil in local market currencies has not increased as dramatically as it has in the United States. This document or "Rate Card" was created by KPMG's Canadian ENR Practice with the sole intention of sharing industry information with those involved in the Oil and Gas Industry. The rate card contains the historical commodity prices from the major US exchanges as well as the corresponding historical exchange rates for Canada and Europe so that conversion into local currencies can be tracked and analyzed. |
